The best practice taught by all developers is to keep your code clean and integrated with the framework you use. Though sometimes it’s not possible to adapt all extensions to this concept, at LiveChat, we looked ahead to meet your expectations and prepared Chat Widget Adapters. If you joined us for our recent live coding session, you may already be familiar with the topic, but if you haven’t — let’s dive into more details.
Thanks to Chat Widget Adapters, it’s now possible to integrate the LiveChat Chat Widget with your website using some of the most popular frameworks, such as React, Angular, and Vue.
This means that instead of manually integrating our JavaScript API to your project, you can leverage our ready-to-use component (and additional utilities) for consuming reactive data from our Chat Widget. We condensed the implementation to an opinionated model so you can connect it with a specific framework in just a few simple steps.
The Adapters bind the building blocks (such as the component lifecycle and the framework-specific reactivity model implementation) to the JS API methods, getters, setters, and events, which are natively available in our JS API. Therefore, you can still make use of all the Chat Widget functionalities and make the most of your website’s performance by alternating the code to the framework you use.
Each available adapter library implements the concept of integrating with the Chat Widget JS API in a similar way. Naturally, the various implementation details for each framework make them different, but they share a common lifecycle model and a reactive data interface concept. Read more about the adapter core concept in our documentation.

🧑🎓 Developer tip
Did you know that you can also sell your expert knowledge in the LiveChat Marketplace? That’s right, besides the apps you build, there’s also an opportunity to offer your skills as a paid service for customers who lack the resources or expertise to complete the development on their own. As an idea, one of the services you could offer is the implementation of the LiveChat Chat Widget using Chat Widget Adapters. But the sky’s the limit!
Check the available LiveChat services and consider putting yourself on our market as an expert for hire!
