We’re excited to announce the release of our new video course for developers: “The Practical Guide to Building LiveChat Apps.”

In this video series, you’ll learn how to build LiveChat applications using the popular JavaScript library React. You’ll have the opportunity to code along with your instructor, Oliwia, and build a real-life application that extends the functionality of the LiveChat App. You’ll also learn how to communicate with LiveChat APIs, how to implement authorization, and how to use the LiveChat Design System to create a neat interface with ready-to-use components.

We’ll finish off by demonstrating how to deploy your app for production using 3 popular services, Heroku, Firebase and Netlify, and spill the beans on how to pass the app review in the LiveChat Developer Program to start making money as soon as possible.

The course is divided into 4 episodes, each focusing on a different aspect of building LiveChat apps:

Episode 1: Setting up the environment and planning out your app development process.
Episode 2: Building and styling components in React. Implementing the communication with LiveChat APIs, including authorization.
Episode 3: Deploying your app to Firebase, Heroku, and Netlify.
Episode 4: Polishing your app to pass the review process and get your app published on the LiveChat Marketplace to start earning revenue.

This course is completely free and is suitable for all new Developer Program members, although we believe that junior devs will make the most out of the course due to its code-along format and interactive exercises.
